Updated 25 May 2023: NRMA’s electric vehicle fleet days have come to an end, with the event connecting fleet managers across NSW with some of the largest electric vehicle (EV) producers – and accessory suppliers – in Australia.

Conducted at Sydney Motorsport Park in Western Sydney over the 9th and 10th of February and 4th and 5th of May, the fleet days form part of a joint initiative between the NRMA and NSW Government to host 20 EV ‘drive days’ to inform, educate and give first-hand EV experience to attendees.

Unlike other hosted and planned public EV drive days within the initiative, EV fleet days are designed for fleet managers to connect with EV industry professions as the NSW Government continues to incentivise and encourage the transition to EV for private fleets.

“Our EV fleet days provide an invaluable education opportunity to businesses considering moving to EVs," said NRMA's Policy & Public Affairs Director, Robert Giltinan.

“We know that fleet vehicles and businesses will play a major role supporting Australia's transition to EVs, and that's why we place such importance on these types of initiatives."

Like the NRMA’s public EV drive days, test drives were on offer to fleet day attendees, with 811 completed by 232 drivers over the two days in February and 749 test drives completed by 100 drivers over the two days in May.

Participants had a choice of 14 electric car models, spanning from the sporty and compact Cupra Born to the heavy-duty Volvo FL Electric Truck – with many more models on display.
