I have broken down, what do I do?

Call 13 11 11 anywhere in Australia, or if you're broken down in NSW, skip the call queue and request roadside assistance online or via the my nrma app.

For business vehicles, call 1300 750 633 anywhere in Australia.  

I'm not a member. Can I get immediate Roadside Assistance?
 Yes, you’ll just need to pay an On Road Join & Go fee plus the cost of your roadside subscription. Call us on 13 11 22 to arrange for roadside assitance even if you are not a member.
I want to renew my roadside subscription or membership

Renewing online is simple, and you can pay via Visa, Mastercard or Paypal.

Alternatively you can also pay for your NRMA membership via the following:


  • Via credit card using our automated phone system on 13 11 22.  (Option 3 and then option 1 for renewals payments)
  • In person at your nearest NRMA office or Australia Post Outlet
  • Via BPAY, using Biller Code 343483 and unique reference number listed on your current renewal circled below:

How do I change my details?

In order to change or update your details you can sign in to your online profile and click on the edit my profiles tab.

Please be advised that you may only change your nominated vehicle under your roadside subscription if you have disposed or sold the current vehicle listed. Each vehicle listed under a membership must be registered in the members name, or be primarily driven by the noted member.

You can also contact NRMA's membership consultants, available on 13 11 22 within Australia or +61 2 4320 4643 8am to 6pm seven days to discuss further.

I'm looking for NRMA Insurance
Although many motorists have both NRMA roadside assistance and NRMA Insurance, they are separate services provided by separate companies.

Insurance is issued by Insurance Australia Limited ABN 11 000 016 722 AFSL 227681 (IAL), trading as NRMA Insurance. Roadside assistance is provided by National Roads and Motorists' Association Limited ABN 77 000 010 506.
