NRMA members Best Price Guarantee means that NRMA members can rest assured that they will get the best price when they book directly with us.

NRMA members can access the best price on selected products and services owned, operated and/or offered by the NRMA and its group businesses including NRMA Parks and Resorts, SIXT, Freycinet Lodge, Cradle Mountain Hotel, Strahan Village, Pumphouse Point, Angourie Resort, Turtle Sands, My Fast Ferry, Fantasea Cruising, NRMA Batteries and NRMA Driver Training that state “Members best price” online, or where quoted when bookings or purchases are made online, via telephone or over the counter including products and services that are classified as “Member best price” can be viewed on each Group Business page listed below in Point 1.6.

“Best Price Guarantee” applies when the following conditions are met:

• you have reserved a vehicle from SIXT Rentals eligible for “Best Price Guarantee” (see the list of eligible branch locations below), directly through a SIXT or other NRMA Group channel (websites, mobile websites, My NRMA app, reservation call centres or directly in a SIXT branch),
• a confirmation number has been issued to confirm this booking; and
• within 24 hours following confirmation of your booking sent by email or the confirmation of your booking by telephone:
• you find a like for like vehicle rental offered at a lower public price and available for booking, this price being calculated in an identical manner, on the same basis as the total cost with the same inclusions (taxes, VAT, services),
• on the website, mobile website or third-party application which is not an NRMA Group channel (“Third-party booking channel”)

Please note that ‘like-for-like’ means comparable in terms of car type or class, pick-up and drop-off dates and times, location(s) and any relevant fees (including additional driver fees) or extra equipment. This excludes booking for SIXT locations outside Australia.

In the event of an eligible booking, confirmed by the NRMA Group under the terms and conditions stipulated, we will match that price on pick up.

NRMA Group “Best Price Guarantee” will not apply to:

• Group rates, corporate or business rates including government contracted rates;
• Special promotional offers giving rise to an additional discount after booking confirmation (such as promotional codes provided after signing up to a newsletter)
• Loyalty rates or subscription programmes offered on the Third-Party Booking Channel
• Rates granted for partners of the NRMA Group and their employees, including Insurance Australia General Limited
• Rates granted for employees of the NRMA Group
• Rates offered by wholesale providers, inbound tour operators or travel management companies
• Rates offered by sources selling unsold inventory on an opaque pricing basis which specify the name of the operator, hotel or its location only after confirmation of the booking
• Rates displayed on websites/portals/web pages which do not have an on-line booking system such as information sites or sites which confirm reservations only after contacting the hotel
• Rates which are part of a package which includes a flight, a cruise, car rental or any other activity

“Best Price Guarantee” does not apply to websites requiring membership, on-line memberships or programs with password or login to determine rates and availability.

• NRMA Batteries: Car battery replacements are available in NSW and ACT. Full members receive free delivery and installation 24/7, 365 days a year, plus recycling of their old battery with the purchase of any NRMA Battery when they book online for NSW Metro areas, via the NRMA Call Centre for NSW Metro and areas outside of NSW Metro, or purchase from NRMA Patrol. Purchase of NRMA Battery will be facilitated via NRMA Patrols. Non-members delivery and installation fee of $60 for Sydney Metro and may vary dependant on area in regional areas. Workshop fitment may be required for some makes or models, which may incur an additional charge. Standard NRMA Batteries terms and conditions.

To make a claim:

• Member must request a price match by contacting the NRMA Group Business where they have booked. Price match is only applicable to NRMA Parks and Resorts, Cradle Mountain Hotel, Strahan Village, Freycinet Lodge and SIXT
• Parks and Resorts: Member is required to call the Parks and Resorts Call Centre or Property
• Cradle Mountain Hotel, Strahan Village, Freycinet Lodge: Member is required to call the Call Centre or Property
• SIXT: Members are required to email [email protected] with supporting documentation
• Member must provide proof of the better price
• Price must be publicly available and the allowed window of time has not expired
• Exclusions stated by each Group Business Terms and conditions
• Group Business verifies that the scenario qualifies for a price match as per the Group Business Terms and conditions
• If the scenario does not qualify the member is notified with the reason
• If the request qualifies then the Group Business actions the price match and the member enjoys the better price. We will verify the Terms and conditions of the other offer, then contact you with an update.

1.1 Members can access flexible cancellation terms on selected products and services owned, operated and/or offered by the NRMA and its group businesses (NRMA Parks and Resorts, SIXT, Freycinet Lodge, Cradle Mountain Hotel, Strahan Village, My Fast Ferry and Fanstasea Cruising) subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
